Claude

Works on every plan, in the web app, on desktop and on mobile.

1. Open the + menu next to the message box, or go to Customize, then Connectors.
2. Choose Add custom connector.
3. Give it a name and paste the URL: https://mcp.adamsnel.com/mcp
4. Leave Advanced settings alone. There is no authentication to configure.
5. Click Add. It is on for new conversations; toggle it from the Connectors menu.

On a Team or Enterprise plan, an owner adds it first under Organization settings, Connectors. You then connect it from your own settings.

ChatGPT

ChatGPT gates custom servers behind Developer mode, which it labels an elevated risk. Expect a few more steps than in Claude.

1. In Settings, open Security and login and turn on Developer mode.
2. Open ChatGPT Plugins and click the + button near the search box.
3. Enter a name, set the Server URL to https://mcp.adamsnel.com/mcp, and set Authentication to No Auth.
4. Tick the box acknowledging custom servers carry risk, then click Create.
5. In a conversation, open the + menu, search for the server by name and select it. Click Connect the first time you use it.

Custom servers are not available in Advanced Voice mode.
